The Five Best Science Fiction Blogs Of 2016

As a Science Fiction fan, you would probably look for online resources to go to, either for inspiration or just for the sake of reading. Well, here are three science fiction websites you might want to look at, and read about your most favorite genre aka Sci-Fi.

Tobias S Buckell has already been awarded as a New York Times Best Selling Author. He received other science-fiction writing novels nominations and awards thereafter and most likely, even before. His page says that some of his novels and works have been translated into different languages.

His website appears a little minimalist for a Sci-Fi writer, but that is beside the point. This site is sleek and contains links to tons of his amazing works. Just by reading a few sentences, you would know that it is worth the rapid movement of your eyes to read and process information.

He is not going to be invited as a Guest of Honor for the 2017 North American Science Fiction Convention if he is not good. (Tip: The conference will be held in San Juan, PR)

This blog is entitled The Mad Hatter’s Bookshelf & Book Review. It may not be so active as it used to be, but is still a site you should definitely read when you have spare time.

I wonder what the blogger is busy doing now. However, do not worry. Being dormant as it is, the blog still has so many inputs you can always check out, like guest articles, interviews, and free fiction. Here you’d find insights to science fiction worth reading – ranging from the new to occasionally, the old ones too.

Since the Mad Hatter’s Bookshelf & Book Review was started in 2010., I would say that there is  definitely more than a year worth of reads!

GRASPING FOR THE WIND: Science Fiction and Fantasy News & Review. This blog gets updated with book reviews quarterly, with minor lapses in the past.

What’s funny and adorable at the same time is that Tobias Buckell who made it to the top of this list wrote a testimonial about John Ottinger III’s craft. He said,

“John is an incisive and creative blogger.”

This website is quite commercialized, which I think is good and bad at the same time. There is an option to advertise with John. Also, an area, where books for sale are, is available. It is a little too business, for me. However, I will still recommend that you look into his writings – worth it!

  3. Very informative! Thank you.

  4. I’d not insert “Independence day2” as a “best movie of 2016”. It really was a horrible movie!
